Interesting concept. Finished demo quite fast. Tried to buy all upgrades, but it became increasingly costly, to the point it would take hours. Clearly supposed to achieve that after more prestiges.
Suggestion: popcorn bags could move laterally by themselves, adding up to the randomness of the game.
Thank you very much for playing. You're right, I still have plenty of balancing ahead. There will be a few more prestige upgrade to come in the demo (this here is just a prototype). Moving the bag by itself is an interesting idea, but I myself am more of a fan of being able to move the bag to where you want. Thank you for your honest feedback
Hey there. First of all thanks for commenting. Everything in the game is created by me. German and english is also written by me, but you are right I translated the texts into chinese, japanese and spanish using an AI. I did this to simply make the game more accessible for more players that do not speak english or german and not to create something generated by a machine. The old cheap ways of translating a game were using Google Translate when AI was not a thing which would mess up in all languages. My goal is not to keep the texts in for long. I am currently hiring translators to localize the texts for me and I am also hoping for help from the community. Sadly itch does not give an option to only say "Translations made with AI assistance", it generalizes on "text & dialog". This feels constricting and I don't want people to think the whole text is generated by a machine where a lot of brain power went into the original texts. But I will upload a build shortly that uses new translations or leave out some.
I think this is a great idea! I wonder what it could look like if the prestige rewards were maybe a little slower but didn't reset the game, it felt like restarting was more of a chore than interesting but maybe I'm just burnt out on that style of mechanic
Thank you very much! I definitely get what you mean and I'm trying to work on making the next prestige feel more rewarding so the player will reach the previous state faster. But I will also dabble with your idea.

this is soooooo cool oh my god
Thank you very much :)
Why did you mark this as no generative AI used but you yourself made a reddit post about how you used it for translations?
AI translation is interpretive, not generative.
Word for word from the dev: "Generative AI was used for localizations"

I liked it!! Sad the demo was a bit too short, but eager to see the full version.
Thank you very much for playing. The next demo will have a lot more to systems to unlock.
